Are you passionate about ensuring safety and compliance in the realm of scientific products and materials? We're seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Regulatory Coordinator. In this entry-level position, you'll play a crucial role in evaluating hazards, assigning transportation classifications, and maintaining regulatory compliance for both internal and external products and raw materials.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate within a dynamic team to support various business units.
• Apply your expertise in GHS and Transportation regulations to assess product hazards effectively.
• Utilize external vendor Safety Data Sheets (SDS) to evaluate transport hazards.
• Employ in-house computer systems to accurately assign transport classifications.
• Provide assistance on overflow regulatory compliance projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field.
• Familiarity with regulatory programs, particularly DOT/Transport regulations, is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) is advantageous.
• Experience with chemical databases is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Comfortable with handling repetitive tasks involving significant amounts of data.
