SCHRC is a local mental health clinic that provides a comprehensive range of mental health care services for adults and children. We became a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) in 2021 and we employ over 140 staff in 15 programs in Waseca, Steele, and Dodge Counties.
Mental Health Practitioner/ARMHS
Primary Responsibilities
· The ARMHS staff will provide adult rehabilitative mental health services that instruct, assist, and support the recipient in basic living and social skills. These activities are to help restore a recipient’s skills for managing his or her illness and everyday independent living. The service areas would include: interpersonal communication skills, community resource utilization and integration skills, crisis assistance, relapse prevention skills, health care directives, budgeting and shopping skills, healthy lifestyle skills and practices, cooking and nutrition skills, transportation skills, medication education and monitoring, mental illness symptom management skills, household management skills, employment-related skills, and transition to community living services.
- Complete assessments, develop treatment plans and progress notes.
- Meet regularly with the Treatment Supervisor and Treatment Director for individual and group reviews of client needs and receive directions for treatment.
Education
- Completes at least 30 semester hours/45 quarter hours through relevant coursework in behavioral science or related field and has:
- 2,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of clinical services in the treatment of adults with mental illness. The practitioner's experience must have been supervised, but not necessarily by a mental health professional.

- Completed 4,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of clinical services in the treatment of mental illness, substance use disorder or traumatic brain injury, developmental disability
Wage/Benefits
Wage Range of $21.50 to $ 24.00/hour
