Regulatory Relations Liaison is responsible for filing necessary applications and handling all government interactions pertaining to the regulation and certification process for a plant or other facility. Develops procedures to ensure regulatory compliance. Being a Regulatory Relations Liaison prepares reports for top management detailing projects that may impact the organization's regulation status. May represent the organization before federal or state legislations. Additionally, Regulatory Relations Liaison requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Regulatory Relations Liaison typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Regulatory Relations Liaison typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     As a Farmers Market Liaison, you will play a crucial role in our mission to provide healthy, organic produce to consumers. You will be responsible for the transport, setup, and operation of our stall at a market. Your friendly and customer-oriented approach will also make you an essential part of the market experience for our patrons. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills, a keen eye for product presentation, and a passion for supporting local organic agriculture. You will be working part-time on weekends only.

    Requirements:

    · High school diploma or equivalent.

    · Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and willingness to drive across the Bay Area (for example, from Watsonville to San Francisco).

    · Previous experience in retail, customer service, or market vending.

    · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    · Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.

    · Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 pounds).

    · Flexibility to work on weekends and during market hours.

    · Knowledge and appreciation of locally sourced organic produce.

    · Positive attitude and a willingness to be a team player.

    · Ideally looking for someone who can work weekends.
