As a Farmers Market Liaison, you will play a crucial role in our mission to provide healthy, organic produce to consumers. You will be responsible for the transport, setup, and operation of our stall at a market. Your friendly and customer-oriented approach will also make you an essential part of the market experience for our patrons. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills, a keen eye for product presentation, and a passion for supporting local organic agriculture. You will be working part-time on weekends only.
Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and willingness to drive across the Bay Area (for example, from Watsonville to San Francisco).
· Previous experience in retail, customer service, or market vending.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
· Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 pounds).
· Flexibility to work on weekends and during market hours.
· Knowledge and appreciation of locally sourced organic produce.
· Positive attitude and a willingness to be a team player.
· Ideally looking for someone who can work weekends.
