    What you’ll do


    As the Client Relations Specialist for Utilimaster (A Shyft Group Brand) based at our facility in Bristol, IN, you will be accountable for providing critical sales support to our Upfit Services team and managing up to $5M transactions with Fortune 100 clients.

    In this role, you will be pivotal in ensuring that the project stays on track and meets client expectations, while constantly looking for opportunities to achieve incremental sales within assigned clients. In addition, you will be the front-line sales contact for clients on all matters related to new and upcoming orders, and the single point contact for the client on order status from order to cash.

    You will also:

    • Develop quotes with engineering, materials, and pricing teams
    • Respond to client(s) with quick turnaround times for new business requests
    • Manage end-to-end order processing for both existing and potential clients
    • Oversee the entire customer journey through various company systems
    • Process purchase orders and manage product and customer-supplied item deliveries
    • Administer builds and invoicing, handle change orders, and ensure timely delivery to clients
    • Build and nurture strong relationships with assigned clients
    • Foster continuous development and understanding of your clients’ needs
    • Respond to all sales-related inquiries promptly and efficiently
    • Collaborate with engineering and customer support to ensure clear communication and fulfillment of commitments made on behalf of the company
    • Promote a Continuous Improvement mindset amongst your team and clients
    • Seek opportunities to enhance the client experience, increase revenue, and streamline or automate strategic processes
    • Accurately capture customer orders and relevant sales/VIN information in all company systems
    • Coordinate on-site visits for clients at the company, including developing agendas, organizing vehicle reviews, scheduling plant tours, and more
    • Strive to position the company as the preferred supplier and ensure seamless and easy business interactions

    What you need to be successful

    • Associates degree and three or more years of inside sales expertise within a B2B sales environment
    • Bachelor’s degree (Preferred) with a technical background
    • Fleet and/or Vehicle Upfit experience (Preferred)
    • A reputation for being attentive to detail
    • Customer focus with mindset of same time response turn-around
    • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
    • A history of planning and managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
    • Exceptional communication skills and ability to establish customer and colleague rapport quickly
