ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Assist the Public Relations Specialist in managing requests for Louisville Water to be involved in community functions. This includes:
Serve Louisville Pure Tap at community functions via Pure Tap On-the-Go mobile units or 5-gallon coolers. Workload requires:
Talk to customers and function as a representative of Louisville Water at community functions:
Assist in the maintenance and coordination of Louisville Water's 5-gallon cooler rental program:
Assist with the management and distribution of Pure Tap products and equipment, to include:
WORKING CONDITIONS
This is a seasonal temporary position that typically runs March 1st through October 31st, with the potential to develop into a part time, year-round position pending employee performance and interest/availability. Employment starts and end dates may be flexible for the right candidate. Please note there is no requirement or expectation for employees to stay on beyond the stated events season. Candidates should have flexible availability to accommodate evening and weekend events. Schedule and hours will vary from week to week based on need, not to exceed 40 hours. Employees will be guaranteed at least one weekend off per month plus all major holidays.
This employee will spend most of their time outside of an office and should enjoy being outdoors and working with the public. This job includes regularly lifting equipment up to 50 pounds, working on one's feet, and working outdoors in summer weather conditions. A valid driver's license is required for employment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent; and
Two (2) years' experience in communications, customer service (or comparable public-facing experience) or two years previous work experience at Louisville Water.
