  • Overview : The Payment Services Specialist contributes to all consumer related payment product offerings, services, channels, and platform(s).

    The successful candidate for this position will partner with Business Development, IT, Engineering, Marketing, and Accounting to deliver world class consumer centric payment solutions for all ViaPath customer verticals.

    Primary responsibilities include collaborating with ViaPath s internal stakeholders to successfully on-board new and nurture existing opportunities in corrections, government, and consumer payment services to increase market penetration and optimization of ViaPath payment solutions.

    The Specialist will contribute to all aspects of the payment product lifecycle to include but not limited to product roadmaps, cross-team communications, internal consensus building, RFP and contract requirements, research and writing, project management, and go to market strategies for delivery.

    Hybrid opportunity if based near a ViaPath office.

    Can consider remote based opportunity if not near a ViaPath office.

    Responsibilities : Manage multiple projects from conception through completion; lead projects that involve successful management with stakeholders responsible for the analysis, design, integration, testing, documentation, and on-boarding of payment systems.

    Perform day-to-day management of overall payment operations, possibly involving multiple projects and groups of personnel at multiple locations.

    Direct the management of moderate and large sized project budgets, including expenditures for consultants and vendors, ensuring that ViaPath meets all project cost and scheduled objectives.

    Qualify, develop, and maintain thorough company and product knowledge, review customers requirements, and identify how ViaPaths solutions meet their needs.

    Assist in defining the project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders.

    Understanding of methods used to evaluate product portfolios to make ongoing strategic product life cycle decisions and ability to understand and report on the impact on company revenue.

    Communicate, both internally and externally, the direction, capabilities, and value of the payment products to ensure all constituents fully understand the benefits of the product.

    Work with Account Executives and Account Managers to design customer-specific sales efforts, presentations, and product training.

    Ability to present in person or web.

    Work alongside the RFP Team in developing concise responses to requirements within the RFPs.

    Maximize revenue performance by establishing strong relationships and gaining insight into the needs and lifestyle of the customer.

    Qualifications : Bachelors degree in business or related field or a combination of education and years of experience in lieu of degree3-5 years relevant payment services project / account management experience (will consider candidates with less experience if they have strong experience within the correction payment services environment)Represent the company with a comprehensive understanding of ViaPaths payment service offerings.

    Knowledge of State or Federal government consumer payment channels desired.Knowledge of

    money services compliance / regulatory requirements, revenue / financial impacts, and knowledge of the various ViaPath payment portals, hardware platforms, and partner / vendors a plus.

    Knowledge of money services transmission in banking, corrections, and / or governmental industry a plus.Participated in the full lifecycle of multiple products from conception to release.

    Proficiency in Windows OS and Microsoft Office Suite of products; project management tools and collaboration systems such as POETS, ServiceNow, Jira, Salesforce, etc.
