Clewiston Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is now hiring a vivacious, energized, engaged, resident focused Activities Director who is committed to providing the best life and care for our residents.  

The primary purpose of the Activities  Director is to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operations of the Recreation Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that an on-going program of activities is designed to meet, in accordance with the comprehensive assessment, the interests and the physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each resident.

ACTIVITIES DIRECTOR REQUIREMENTS:

• 5 years’ Experience in Long Term Care Activities Department is Preferred
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition & enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level at which they are currently functioning
