Rehabilitation Director - Nursing Home directs the programs and staff of the rehabilitation services department for a nursing home. Develops and implements rehabilitation programs by working with the operational leadership team and medical staff. Being a Rehabilitation Director - Nursing Home sets and implements guidelines for rehabilitation programs such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. Responsible for the direction, planning, and operation of the rehabilitation function. Additionally, Rehabilitation Director - Nursing Home develops and implements policies and procedures regarding staffing and budget. May require an advanced degree. Typically reports to top management. May require a professional certification. The Rehabilitation Director - Nursing Home typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Summary: Overall responsibility for all departments with in the Assisted Living (overseeing 3-4 individuals), ensuring compliance with applicable policies, laws, and rules relating to care provided to the tenants and administration of the program. The Director/Manager has the overall responsibility of maintaining control and directing all program financial concerns in conjunction with the facility Administrator. Implements and engages in the infection control at the nursing home as the Quality Assurance Performance Improvement.
*Employer paid program training- Assisted Living Certification and on-going continuing education.
*On-call rotation required- every 5 weeks- compensation received regardless if the need arises or not.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.50 - $35.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
