Rehabilitation Director - Nursing Home directs the programs and staff of the rehabilitation services department for a nursing home. Develops and implements rehabilitation programs by working with the operational leadership team and medical staff. Being a Rehabilitation Director - Nursing Home sets and implements guidelines for rehabilitation programs such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. Responsible for the direction, planning, and operation of the rehabilitation function. The Heritage Center and Horizon's Rehabilitation are recruiting a Nursing Unit Director to join our team! The ideal candidate will have previous experience in geriatrics, long-term care, nursing home, and/or nursing administration.
The Unit Director is responsible for managing the delivery of resident care on their assigned unit to ensure the optimal level of physical, psychosocial, and spiritual well-being for its residents. The Unit Director will facilitate and coordinate all compliance regarding documentation and resident care. This position will manage staff on the unit and will guide, mentor, and motivate the team.
