Rehabilitation Director - Nursing Home directs the programs and staff of the rehabilitation services department for a nursing home. Develops and implements rehabilitation programs by working with the operational leadership team and medical staff. Being a Rehabilitation Director - Nursing Home sets and implements guidelines for rehabilitation programs such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. Responsible for the direction, planning, and operation of the rehabilitation function. Additionally, Rehabilitation Director - Nursing Home develops and implements policies and procedures regarding staffing and budget. May require an advanced degree. Typically reports to top management. May require a professional certification. The Rehabilitation Director - Nursing Home typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Schedule: 7am - 3pm Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
We are looking to hire a full-time cook to join our team. A cook in the food service department is to assist the Dietary Director in meeting the nutritional food requirements of our residents as well as to meet standards of cleanliness and food preparation required by state and federal laws.
This position requires the following qualifications:
- Preferably experience as a cook in an Independent/Assisted or Supportive Living facility.
- High school diploma or equivalent and successfully complete training as required by State regulations.
- Obtain Food Handlers Permit as required by State regulations.
- Previous experience working with the elderly.
- Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
- Must demonstrate the ability to work responsibly as a team member as well as an individual.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the public.
- Must meet all health requirements and pass background checks.
- Must maintain sanitation in the kitchen area.
- Must be able to work weekends and Holiday hours if needed.
