We are a Skilled Nursing Facility in Central Florida. Our primary function is to offer continuous nursing, medical, and other health and social services on a 24-hour basis, under physician directed care and RN supervision. We focus on providing care for patients who are not in the acute phase of illness or requiring services in a hospital and who require primary, restorative, or skilled nursing services on an inpatient or custodial care basis. Our goal is to help our patients reach a degree of self-care in essential daily living. Director of Rehabilitation Services has administrative oversight of the entire rehab service line to include The Rehabilitation Institute at Client site, a 50 bed CARF accredited inpatient rehab facility, which includes a dedicated 6 bed brain injury unit, as well as both inpatient and outpatient physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and audiology services. With approx. 80 FTEs reporting to this position including a therapy manager and nurse manager, the rehab director is responsible for coordinating the overall operations and strategic direction for the rehab service line. CARF accreditation experience preferred. Client site is a level 1 trauma facility and is accredited by both The Joint Commission and DNV as a comprehensive Stroke Care facility. The Rehabilitation Institute at Client site supports the overall vision of serving our community’s rehab needs.
Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited program for Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology preferred Minimum. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in rehab disciplines. Minimum of 2 years of supervisory/management. Licensed in the state of FL which the therapist practices, according to state requirements.
