Ensures efficient and effective operations for physical therapy, sports medicine, occupational therapy and speech departments. Being a Rehabilitation Services Manager identifies services through program planning and facilitates program development. May require an advanced degree. Additionally, Rehabilitation Services Manager typically reports to a director. The Rehabilitation Services Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. The purpose of this position is to assist in developing and implementing client-specific programs in settings as residential, day program, on the job or other community setting. The goal is helping individuals build strong social skills and encourage independence while creating an environment that allows the client to thrive. To ensure success in this position candidate should have respectable interpersonal skills and a passion for helping others.
