Rehabilitation Services Manager plans and implements the overall rehabilitation functions policies, procedures, and services. Ensures efficient and effective operations for physical therapy, sports medicine, occupational therapy and speech departments. Being a Rehabilitation Services Manager identifies services through program planning and facilitates program development. May require an advanced degree. Additionally, Rehabilitation Services Manager typically reports to a director. The Rehabilitation Services Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Rehabilitation Services Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Empower individuals living with mental illness by assisting them as they utilize and participate in Bell’s social rehabilitation programs and activities. Your supportive role will include teaching academic, social, and daily living skills with a recovery-based approach. Critical elements include planning and preparing group material, facilitating groups, maintaining & coordinating client caseload, providing supportive counseling, and completing all necessary paperwork in a timely manner. This is a full-time salaried position. Minimum requirements: Associates degree or two years of college credits in social science OR two years human service experience; must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid driver’s license, insurable driving record, and have reliable transportation; PA State Police background check.
