The facility offers a 6-day a week, in-house comprehensive rehabilitation program where the Director of Rehabilitation is an integral member of the interdisciplinary team. As a department head, the Director of Rehabilitation position is considered stable and secure at one location. Each rehab department offers a spacious gym.

DIRECTOR OF REHABILITATION JOB SUMMARY
· Director of Rehabilitation is responsible for the total daily operations of the rehabilitation department and for supporting the facility with additional responsibilities.
· Director of Rehabilitation is accountable for program growth, expense management, labor management, hiring, quality and outcome improvement and productivity management.
· Director of Rehabilitation position may include direct resident care daily or as needed.
· Director of Rehabilitation is responsible for rehab department compliance with facility policy, procedures, clinical standards, infection control, documentation guidelines and regulations.
DIRECTOR OF REHABILITATION JOB QUALIFICATIONS
· Will consider OT, PT, SLP, PTA or COTA for the Director of Rehabilitation position.
· Director of Rehabilitation position requires a minimum of bachelor’s degree in PT/OT or Masters in SLP from an accredited program, Minimum of Associates of Science in PTA/OTA from an accredited program.
· Director of Rehabilitation position requires a current Florida OT, PT, SLP, PTA or OTA License
· Director of Rehabilitation must have strong clinical skills with the ability to mentor and educate.
· Director of Rehabilitation must present with excellent leadership ability with ability to motivate, lead, encourage and redirect.
· Director of Rehabilitation must present with excellent professionalism with written and verbal communication skills.
· Director of Rehabilitation must have excellent organizational and time management skills.
· Director of Rehabilitation must be computer/tech savvy to efficiently manage the department.
