Our facility offers a supportive environment with a compassionate rehab team looking for a great new leader to take the role. The rehab department utilizes Net Health-Therapy and Point Click Care for billing and documentation to assist Director of Rehabilitation manage the rehab department and therapists with daily efficiency where quality care remains the primary focus of each therapist. The facility offers a 6-day a week, in-house comprehensive rehabilitation program where the Director of Rehabilitation is an integral member of the interdisciplinary team. As a department head, the Director of Rehabilitation position is considered stable and secure at one location. Each rehab department offers a spacious gym.

DIRECTOR OF REHABILITATION JOB SUMMARY

·        Director of Rehabilitation is responsible for the total daily operations of the rehabilitation department and for supporting the facility with additional responsibilities.

·        Director of Rehabilitation is accountable for program growth, expense management, labor management, hiring, quality and outcome improvement and productivity management.

·        Director of Rehabilitation position may include direct resident care daily or as needed.

·        Director of Rehabilitation is responsible for rehab department compliance with facility policy, procedures, clinical standards, infection control, documentation guidelines and regulations.

DIRECTOR OF REHABILITATION JOB QUALIFICATIONS

·        Will consider OT, PT, SLP, PTA or COTA for the Director of Rehabilitation position.

·        Director of Rehabilitation position requires a minimum of bachelor’s degree in PT/OT or Masters in SLP from an accredited program, Minimum of Associates of Science in PTA/OTA from an accredited program.

·        Director of Rehabilitation position requires a current Florida OT, PT, SLP, PTA or OTA License

·        Director of Rehabilitation must have strong clinical skills with the ability to mentor and educate.

·        Director of Rehabilitation must present with excellent leadership ability with ability to motivate, lead, encourage and redirect.

·        Director of Rehabilitation must present with excellent professionalism with written and verbal communication skills.

·        Director of Rehabilitation must have excellent organizational and time management skills.

·        Director of Rehabilitation must be computer/tech savvy to efficiently manage the department.
