Rehabilitation Services Supervisor jobs in Lake Charles, LA
Rehabilitation Services Supervisor is responsible for the day to day operations of the rehabilitation therapy function. Supervises the delivery of therapy programs to patients. Being a Rehabilitation Services Supervisor responsibilities include providing consultation to and monitoring the performance of the rehabilitation staff. Oversees staff and ensures that all policies and procedures are followed as set forth by the health care facility. Additionally, Rehabilitation Services Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires a license in the area of specialization. The Rehabilitation Services Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Rehabilitation Services Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Social Services Assistant Responsibilities
As a Social Services Assistant, you are responsible for assisting the Social Service Coordinator and Social Workers in providing medically related social services so that each resident/resident may attain or maintain the highest practicable level of physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being. The Social Services Assistant promotes a climate, policies and routines that enable residents to maximize their individuality, independence, and dignity.
Social Services Assistant Requirements
- Social Service Certificate, 36-Hour Social Service Designee Certificate, preferred.
- One year of supervised social service experience in a healthcare setting working directly with geriatric individuals.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
