Studio City Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Environmental Services Supervisor to join our team!

Environmental Services Supervisor Requirements:

• Must pass a pre-employment background check and physical exam
• Must have working knowledge regarding plumbing, building repairs, electrical systems, troubleshooting, etc.
• At least 1 Year Environmental Services Supervisor is required with working in a skilled nursing home setting

Primary Environmental Services Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Oversee maintenance, janitors, housekeeping, and laundry staff
• Ensure staff are scheduled to provide services on a daily basis
• Complies with the facility’s attendance policy requiring regular, reliable, and punctual attendance
• Maintains building, performing minor and routine painting, and other related maintenance activities
• Changes light bulbs, replaces fixtures, and similar minor electrical tasks
• Opens clogged drains, fixes leaks, and performs other simple plumbing jobs
• Does touch-up painting and repaints rooms as required
• Performs simple carpentry tasks such as installing shelves, hooks, etc
• Cleans or provides maintenance to rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker area, parking lots, air conditioner vents, facility grounds and other work areas so that health standards are met
• Delegates maintenance staff to buff floors in hallways and all common areas
• Empties wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas
• Maintains tools and maintenance equipment in work order and keeps maintenance room in clean and condition
• Assures plants and grass on the grounds are watered
• Provides support services to other areas of the building as needed
• Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
• Assists in the installation of new machines and equipment under direction of supervisor or contractor vendor
• Notifies managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems, and reports hazards such as broken, loose or worn flooring, handrails, etc., to Administrator
• Any other assignments as directed by the Administrator

PAY SCALE: $30 - $33 / Hour

Depending on a number of factors, including, but not limited to location, regularly scheduled work shift, knowledge, skills, experience, and expertise.
