Rehabilitation Services Supervisor is responsible for the day to day operations of the rehabilitation therapy function. Supervises the delivery of therapy programs to patients. Being a Rehabilitation Services Supervisor responsibilities include providing consultation to and monitoring the performance of the rehabilitation staff. Oversees staff and ensures that all policies and procedures are followed as set forth by the health care facility. Additionally, Rehabilitation Services Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires a license in the area of specialization. The Rehabilitation Services Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Rehabilitation Services Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     The primary focus of this job is to assure that the work at hand is performed as planned and that improvements in performance of this work are intensified and implemented within delegated authority. The position is responsible for assisting in the management of the Outpatient Physical Therapy Department. The responsibilities include Physical Therapy Department scheduling, monitoring of activities and supplies. Acts as the manager in the absence of the Physical Therapy Manager. This position can effectively recommend the hiring, firing and discipline of employees.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Graduate Degree in Physical Therapy from program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.

    • Upon hire: Washington Occupational Therapist License Or

    • Upon hire: Washington Physical Therapist License Or

    • Upon hire: Washington Recreational Therapist Registration Or

    • Upon hire: Washington Speech Language Pathologist License

    • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

    • 5 years Clinical experience, two years in management / supervisory position.
