RESPONSIBILITIES:

Are you passionate about leading and empowering a team of rehabilitation professionals to provide exceptional care? We are currently seeking a friendly and skilled Director of Rehab to join our team. As the Director of Rehab, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients by overseeing and coordinating our comprehensive rehabilitation programs.

• Lead and manage a team of rehabilitation professionals, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists.
• Develop and implement effective rehabilitation programs to support patients' recovery and enhance their quality of life.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and licensing requirements related to rehabilitation services.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of the rehabilitation team, providing support and guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop interdisciplinary treatment plans for patients.
• Review and analyze patient records to ensure accurate documentation and coding for billing purposes.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to enhance the delivery of rehabilitation services.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements and best practices in rehabilitation therapy, and ensure their implementation within the organization.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Rehabilitation Services or related field.
• Current and active license in at least one therapy discipline (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Therapy).
• Strong knowledge of rehabilitation therapy techniques, assessment tools, and treatment protocols.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse group of professionals.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Demonstrated commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.

EXPERIENCE:

• With Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care experience is preferred
• Experienced Director of Rehabilitation (DOR)
• Similar leadership role in a healthcare setting are welcome
