Reimbursement Services Director - Home Care jobs in Florence, AL
Reimbursement Services Director - Home Care directs and supervises the activities of the benefits claims and provider reimbursement personnel in a home care environment. Sets procedures for filing reimbursement claims and ensures timely and accurate claims payments. Being a Reimbursement Services Director - Home Care monitors, evaluates and reviews all cost reporting in support of reimbursement claims. Produces the documentation necessary for reimbursement, Medicare Compliance, and control of receivables. Additionally, Reimbursement Services Director - Home Care may require an advanced degree. Typically reports to top management. The Reimbursement Services Director - Home Care typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Job description
We are looking for a compassionate Home Health Aide to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patients homes in accordance with an established care plan.
Responsibilities
- Provide health care services in patients residences
- Perform domestic and household tasks
- Transport and accompany patients to doctors office or to hospital
- Administer simple prescribed medications
- Assist with clients personal care activities
- Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) and report on their condition
- Maintain patients care records and document provided services
- Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises
- Instruct and counsel patients and families on diet and exercise
- Collect routine specimens
- Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support
Skills
- Proven working experience as home health aide
- Ability to monitor vital signs and to collect specimens
- Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
- Proficiency in English
- Nursing and health care administration skills
- Caring and compassionate personality
- Current CPR certificate
- First Aid training
- Valid driver’s licence
- High school degree
Job Type: Part-time
