Reimbursement Services Director directs and supervises the activities of the claims and provider reimbursement personnel. Handles third-party reimbursement for services rendered to patients. Monitors, evaluates and reviews all cost reporting in support of reimbursement claims. POSITION PURPOSE:
Assist the Social Services Director/Coordinator in identifying and providing for each resident's social, emotional and psychological needs, and the continuing development of the resident's full potential.
• Assist in collecting social history data and in the development of a comprehensive discharge plan, including the MOS and Care Plan for new admits, as directed by the Social Services Director.
• Orient and assist new residents in adjusting to the facility. Assist residents and families with adjustment to changes, including room changes.
• Assist families with the engraving and/or marking of resident's personal items.
• Review resident's rights with residents and staff and attend to various personal needs of the residents.
• Assist in facilitating family group meetings.
• Document progress notes , which relate to each resident's care plan when necessary and within policy timeframe.
• Participates in departmental budget planning and supplies monthly report to Administrator.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
Must possess as a minimum, a associate's degree in Social Work or a associate's degree in a human services plus a minimum of two years experience in a supervisory capacity in a long term care; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment in support of company objectives. Must possess any certifications/licenses required by state regulations.
