Reimbursement Services Director directs and supervises the activities of the claims and provider reimbursement personnel. Handles third-party reimbursement for services rendered to patients. Being a Reimbursement Services Director sets procedures for filing reimbursement claims and ensures timely and accurate claims payments. Monitors, evaluates and reviews all cost reporting in support of reimbursement claims. Manages department of plant engineering and maintenance. Plans, organizes, directs and controls the facilities management functions of the hospital and District facilities, including but not limited to planning, design, construction, alteration, operation, maintenance and disposal of plant facilities and equipment; loss prevention management function, including but not limited to, safety, security and fire prevention/protection; and communications functions, including , paging, alarm, and radio communications systems. Establishes goals, objectives, and standards of performance, develops and implements operating policies and procedures; interprets policies, standards, regulations and codes to personnel. Oversees environmental services department.
Required or Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering or equivalent education/experience. Licenses as required. Previous supervisory experience. Requires comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, local standards and codes, and requirements of regulatory and accreditation agencies; standard operating procedures for plant operation; budget development, control and direction; personnel management; work standards for skilled personnel; material and equipment suppliers. Valid Washington State Driver’s License with evidence of current automobile liability coverage.
