Reinsurance Clerk jobs in Queens Village, NY

Responsibilities:

• Handle the recruitment and onboarding processes of new hires, ensuring all paperwork is current and compliant with Department of Health (DOH) standards.
• Audit employee files for compliance with onboarding policies.
• Maintain accurate records of employment, unemployment documents, and HR records to uphold precise files.
• Ensure adherence to DOH standards and update all necessary forms mandated by DOH, including medical forms, I-9 documents, and ongoing yearly training classes.
• Direct Home Health Aides in signing in-service training and orientation materials.
• Flexibly rotate front desk coverage and assist in general office work, including lifting and carrying file cases/boxes of 15 to 25 lbs.
• Coordinate and assist with other departments to contribute to team efforts.
• Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor.

Requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, take initiative, and meet deadlines timely.
• Proficiency in Cantonese and Mandarin is required; proficiency in English is preferred, with basic English necessary. Fujianese is a plus.
• Computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Windows environment, including Excel.
• GED and/or higher education.
• Ability to multi-task under pressure.
• Friendly and professional demeanor.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
