Job Overview:

We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Cashier/Clerk to join our team. As a Cashier/Clerk, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth transactions at the checkout counter. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Duties:

- Greet customers and provide them with prompt and courteous service

- Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently

- Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions

- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area

- Assist customers with product inquiries and locate items in the store

- Stock shelves and ensure merchandise is properly displayed

- Conduct product demos to promote sales

- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets

- Fill and or exchange propane tanks as needed is a must!

Experience:

- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required

- Ability to communicate effectively in English; multilingual skills are a plus

- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions

- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

- Ability to fill propane tanks as needed by consumers.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.84 - $17.77 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
