Reinsurance Specialist performs routine reinsurance administrative duties, such as maintaining records, processing and verifying new business. Organizes the preparation of monthly and annual reports and ensures reinsurance information has been recorded accurately. Being a Reinsurance Specialist performs reconciliation of premium billing statements and DAC tax calculations and maintenance of various reinsurance operations. Researches and resolves the more complex cases and provides guidance to others. Additionally, Reinsurance Specialist may review work performed by others and train new staff. Works towards industry designations (e.g., FLMI, ARA, ACS, etc.). Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Reinsurance Specialist gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. As we start to ease our way into the spring and summer season, I’d like to start conducting interviews for anyone interested in a part-time position working on a Tree crew. There is a possibly this could lead to a full time position for the right candidate. I’m looking for someone who enjoys being outside and and has a genuine interest in Arboriculture. I’m willing to teach you as much as YOU are willing to learn. Drivers license with clean MVR and dependable transportation to and from work are required. If hired you will be sent for a DOT physical.
