The Park Business Manager is a highly skilled team member, providing expertise in fiscal responsibility, administration, and human resources. This position is a supervisory role overseeing staff in the business office and ensuring all park operations are following proper business procedures. As a fluent communicator, duties would include training others and being the vital link of information on the necessities of the park, so it can operate efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plans, trains, and supervises business office personnel
• Plans, participates, implements, and manages fiscal responsibility across the park
• Manages real property inventory
• Inventory, purchasing, and budget reporting
• Enforces departmental rules, regulations, and policies.

Working Conditions

Works primarily in an office but will often work throughout the park and on the park grounds.

Probationary Period

This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 12 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
