    Our Customer Growth team works closely with Small and Mid-Sized Business owners to establish strong relationships and gain a deep understanding of their business and financial needs. Through a consultative approach, we help these business owners optimize the rewards and benefits they receive from our products. We are dedicated to helping customers effectively manage their finances, reduce stress, and improve the profitability of their businesses.

    As a Relationship Manager, you will play a vital role in helping small businesses thrive and grow. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and be an advocate for our customers. They will be innovative, highly organized, and have a proven ability to drive business results while delivering superior service. You will be responsible for identifying and creating new business opportunities in your assigned territory. This will involve building a business plan, qualifying leads, reaching out to executives, understanding customer needs, managing risk, and driving new account engagement. You will also need to be process-oriented and well-organized. Your goal will be to provide solutions that transform our prospects' businesses.

    General Responsibilities:
    - Teach prospective customers how our payment solutions can positively impact their businesses
    - Learn about local small businesses and their purchasing needs
    - Identify additional opportunities to leverage our products and services based on the business's spending habits
    - Develop a deep understanding of our products and how they can integrate with client-side processes
    - Assist businesses in incorporating our products into their purchasing platforms and bookkeeping software
    - Maintain accurate records of sales calls, pipelines, and closed sales in our CRM system
    - Follow up on referrals from existing clients
    - Participate in educational and networking events
    - Build relationships with local "Centers of Influence" to engage with the small business community
    - Drive charge volume on the card with existing clients

    Competencies:
    - Strong project and process management skills
    - Excellent interpersonal influence and networking ability
    - Strong presentation skills focused on customer needs
    - Ability to secure appointments with clients and new prospects
    - Excellent organizational, interpersonal, telephone, and computer skills
    - Experience in hunting for new business in the field

    Basic Qualifications:
    - At least 3 years of sales experience

    Preferred Qualifications:
    - Bachelor's Degree
    - 5 years of outside customer sales experience, including acquisition and portfolio management
    - 1 year of experience working with Small Business Customers
    - 1 year of experience in the financial industry
