Relationship Manager - Sales manages personal banking staff and daily operations to ensure customer satisfaction and develop client relationships. Focuses teams on identifying customer needs and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all bank products and services to explain, promote, and cross-sell products and services. Being a Relationship Manager - Sales ensures efficient processing of basic branch service transactions and accurate referrals to enable customers to access the right resource to facilitate other banking requests easily. Develops processes that enable staff to provide rapid research and solutions to account issues, answers to customer inquiries, and effective education and training on banking self-service technology. Additionally, Relationship Manager - Sales requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Relationship Manager - Sales supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Relationship Manager - Sales typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes. iTA is looking for a Full-Time Sales Account Manager to join our team in Lafayette, LA.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years’ sales experience with:
- leasing and/or rental environment, or some sales experience in the trucking industry: International; Navistar; Mack; Volvo; Peterbilt; Kenworth; Freightliner; Ford Truck; CAT; Cummins; Detroit Diesel.
- Industry experience with: transportation; farming; trucking; heavy equipment; construction.
- Other industry experience may be given consideration if solid sale experience can be demonstrated.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated sales ability;
- High energy and self-motivated;
- Ability to work independently;
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to market, including cold calling on prospective and existing customers in South Louisiana.
- Experience is a plus, but will train the right individual.
- Bachelor’s Degree a plus, but not required.
- Base Commission salary structure; car allowance; excellent benefits.
