Relationship Manager - Sales manages personal banking staff and daily operations to ensure customer satisfaction and develop client relationships. Focuses teams on identifying customer needs and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all bank products and services to explain, promote, and cross-sell products and services. Being a Relationship Manager - Sales ensures efficient processing of basic branch service transactions and accurate referrals to enable customers to access the right resource to facilitate other banking requests easily. Develops processes that enable staff to provide rapid research and solutions to account issues, answers to customer inquiries, and effective education and training on banking self-service technology. Additionally, Relationship Manager - Sales requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Relationship Manager - Sales supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Relationship Manager - Sales typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.     Wells Fargo is seeking an inside sales/relationship manager for its Vendor Finance division


    In this role, you will:

    • Serve as the primary contact for all retail finance transaction activity through a key vendor partner
    • Responsible for making outbound calls and taking inbound calls with the objective of developing dealer relationships to source future retail opportunities
    • Provide transaction assistance including deal quoting, deal structuring, documentation and other aspects of the financing process
    • Partner and align with internal functions to collaborate on goals and resolve issues
    • Identify and recommend opportunities for risk control development
    • Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
    • Make decisions and resolve issues to meet business objectives
    • Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

    • Mentor to less experience individuals and may assist with their development
    • Travel on an as needed basis to visit dealer partners, participate in trade shows and sales events


    Required Qualifications:

    • 4 years of Business Lending Development experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


    Desired Qualifications:

    • Commercial lending experience
    • Sales experience
    • Credit experience


    Job Expectations:

    • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
