Relationship Manager - Sales manages personal banking staff and daily operations to ensure customer satisfaction and develop client relationships. Focuses teams on identifying customer needs and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all bank products and services to explain, promote, and cross-sell products and services. Being a Relationship Manager - Sales ensures efficient processing of basic branch service transactions and accurate referrals to enable customers to access the right resource to facilitate other banking requests easily. Develops processes that enable staff to provide rapid research and solutions to account issues, answers to customer inquiries, and effective education and training on banking self-service technology. Additionally, Relationship Manager - Sales requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Relationship Manager - Sales supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions.     CAPTRUST is seeking a Financial Advisor Relationship Manager with a passion for working as part of a team to solve complex financial challenges for Ultra-High Net Worth clients greater than $25 million net worth. The ideal candidate would use specialized knowledge and skills, obtained through experience and/or formal training, to assist highly qualified team in providing outstanding service for our clients. This position allows for the flexibility to work within a team environment as well as independently to prepare deliverables and complete projects as well as expanding responsibilities within a rapidly growing firm.

    Responsibilities

    • Team up with lead advisor on client relationships to deliver proactive service and advice
    • Compile, organize, interpret, and analyze client financial data for the construction of financial plans including, cash flow analysis, net worth statements, retirement and estate plans, charitable planning, and tax planning
    • Coordinate with associates to model and effectively communicate impact of wealth, estate, and insurance planning strategies appropriate for high-net worth clients; advise senior advisor on the planning results/output
    • Regularly update client wealth and estate plans with updates from source data and changes to global assumptions, financial markets, and tax environment
    • Manage, coordinate, gather, and execute projects, requests, reports, due diligence, action items, etc. related to client service, client meetings, and client reviews; deliver the results to clients and/or briefing the senior advisor(s) for delivery
    • Oversee, monitor, and facilitate changes, adjustments, rebalancing, recommendations, transitions, etc. of client portfolios with CAPTRUST’s research and trading teams
    • Monitor changes in tax laws and developments in financial strategies, particularly with respect to retirement plans, trusts, and estates
    • Engage with the trusts, estates, and tax community, as needed, to keep knowledge base up to date and foster valuable connections
    • Serve as a liaison for the team with other CAPTRUST departments and maintaining rapport with such to ensure high levels of communication, professionalism, and working team environment

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • 5 years of applicable industry experience with high-net worth clients
    • Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation, CFP®, CPA, CPWA, JD, LLM, MT track and/or similar designation
    • Strong proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office products
    • Four-year college degree in business, preferably with an emphasis in Finance or Accounting, preferably with emphasis in finance, accounting and/or mathematics

    Desired Qualifications/Skills:

    • Ability to review, research, interpret, and discuss investment, financial, macroeconomic and security specific data with Senior Advisors and clients
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to communicate information to a financially sophisticated audience
    • Prioritization skills, multi-task skills, able to manage many time-sensitive tasks simultaneously
    • Ability to delegate tasks and projects to others within the organization, to follow up as appropriate, and to work in a team environment
    • Experience preparing materials to illustrate client estate plans using programs such as eMoney (advanced wealth planning),Excel, BlackDiamond (performance reporting), NumberCruncher, and PowerPoint
