Relationship Manager - Sales manages personal banking staff and daily operations to ensure customer satisfaction and develop client relationships. Focuses teams on identifying customer needs and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all bank products and services to explain, promote, and cross-sell products and services. Being a Relationship Manager - Sales ensures efficient processing of basic branch service transactions and accurate referrals to enable customers to access the right resource to facilitate other banking requests easily. Develops processes that enable staff to provide rapid research and solutions to account issues, answers to customer inquiries, and effective education and training on banking self-service technology. Additionally, Relationship Manager - Sales requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Relationship Manager - Sales supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Relationship Manager - Sales typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes. - Make outbound sales calls to prospective customers to introduce and explain the benefits of our products and services.
- Assess customer needs and tailor sales pitches accordingly.
- Overcome objections and answer customer queries effectively.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions in our CRM system.
- Collaborate with the sales team and share insights and feedback to improve sales strategies.
- Stay up to date on product knowledge and industry trends.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Required Skills & Education- 2 years’ experience in outbound sales or telemarketing is preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional education or certifications a plus).
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in CRM software preferred.
- Strong communication and persuasion skills.
- Adept at active listening and understanding customer needs.
- Ability to handle objections and rejection gracefully.
- Self-motivated, driven, and goal-oriented
