a. Minimum Education Requirement : High School Diploma or GED. Successful completion of Health Information Technology program or 2 years’ medical records experience may be considered in place of education program.

Minimum Experience Requirement : Demonstrated experience in release of information and confidentiality; working knowledge of data retrieval and computer/word processing; previous experience release protocol preferred. Ability to deal with effectively with the public. Must possess reading, writing and mathematical skills and ability to understand written instruction.
