Global specialty chemical manufacturer seeks a Reliability Engineer!!!
This Reliability Maintenance Engineer supports the Reliability Team by contributing to continual improvement of established work processes, repair techniques, equipment bills of materials (BOMs), maintenance job plans, spare parts and failure data collection and evaluation.
The Reliability Maintenance Engineer will support the site’s Reliability and Operations organizations to achieve targets in the areas of productivity, costs, and reliability, and will assist the Senior Reliability Engineer with the Mechanical Integrity program to ensure compliance with OSHA process safety standard.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Following is a list of primary duties and responsibilities which take up the majority of time on a daily basis.
The Reliability Maintenance Engineer will be held accountable for being able to perform the essential functions of the job.
Assist Reliability Technicians with day to day troubleshooting of equipment problems, as needed
Responsible for the technical accuracy of preventive maintenance job plans and rebuild procedures.
Build job plans and integrate them into the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Optimize maintenance task frequencies per manufacturer recommendations or plant experience.
Monitoring and adjusting specific equipment tolerances and specifications.
Optimize the equipment lubrication program.
Assist the Senior Reliability Engineer with the optimization of spare parts based on usage and failure
analysis. Work with stores to retire obsolete/unused spare parts.
Collect data on mean time between failure (MTBF) and mean time to repair (MTTR) for critical equipment.
Continuously audit work order historical data and make improvements.
Manage filing and archiving of regulatory maintenance forms.
Assist third party services to monitor equipment condition through routine inspections. Examples are vibration surveillance, non-destructive examination of fixed equipment, infrared imaging, and lubrication analysis.
Participate in equipment failure investigations and cause analysis and implement action items to prevent
recurrence using Cause Analysis tools.
Support and train craftsmen and operators to improve capability and skill.
Backfill Senior Reliability Engineer position when called upon.
Provides support for the use and audit of established work processes

Management: Reliability, Production, Engineer, Quality, Administration Managers and Sr. Plant Management
QUALIFICATIONS:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education:
BS Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred)
Desired Work Experience:
Three (3) or more years of experience in mechanical maintenance and reliability with a working knowledge of chemical process operations, OSHA, PSM and Maintenance Engineering/Management.
Demonstrated experience working with teams.
Demonstrated experience in getting results, meeting commitments & problem-solving skills.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Required:
Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification is preferred, but not required.
