Reliability Engineer analyzes and evaluates the reliability of products, equipment, components, and processes using engineering methodologies and tools. Develops the methods and measures utilized for reliability analysis based on product specifications, tolerances, or operating standards. Being a Reliability Engineer utilizes analysis techniques like FMEA, fault tree, and root cause analysis to identify problems. Oversees testing activities and reviews results. Additionally, Reliability Engineer creates risk-based failure mitigation plans. Proposes new or revised product designs, manufacturing processes and testing specifications that utilize best practices and will increase reliability. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering. Typically reports to an engineering manager. The Reliability Engineer work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.     The Manager of Equipment Reliability collaborates with all operational areas of the company and is accountable for the strategy, development and ongoing support of asset performance analysis tools and capabilities. This role is responsible for driving predictive and preventative operational decisions/actions.     A Day in the Life:

    This position brings leadership, focus and operations alignment to a team of highly technical engineers and analysts focused on sophisticated assignments that improve the performance of our operations assets with regard to safety, compliance, reliability, and efficiency. This position will work collaboratively with Operations, subject matter specialists, and IT leaders to define the team’s strategy, goals, and approach to implement and deliver value to the business.

    Responsibilities/Expectations:

    • Leads efforts to improve operability, maintainability, and the reliability of existing operations assets
    • Leads and directs technical initiatives/projects and coordinates key functions with internal and external technical resources
    • Leads team to create and maintain a portfolio of technical analysis and operational reports using software systems for various Williams groups
    • Presents recommendations supported by sound engineering and operational efficiency and effectiveness that support Williams’ reliability targets
    • Manages projects and ensures timelines for all projects are met
    • Coordinates workforce planning and career development activities for direct employees
    • Other duties as assigned

    Education/Years of Experience:

    • Required: Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field; a minimum of five (5) years’ experience
    • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in engineering; a minimum of eight (8) years’ experience including technical, engineering, and/or operations experience

    Other Requirements:

    • Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
    • Strong data analysis ability
    • Demonstrates leadership capabilities, including the ability to empower and develop team members
    • Preferred: Skills for analysis and economics
    • Preferred: Broad experience in gas gathering, gas processing, processing and transmission operations, and project management

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: Up to $255,900.00 per year
