Typically reports to an engineering manager. The Reliability Engineer work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. A Reliability Center Manager identifies and manages asset reliability risks that could adversely affect plant or business operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
identify equipment defect(s), determine defect severity and provide a work request to the facility maintenance staff specifying the work required to eliminate the defect
Develops, qualifies and approves all procedures, specifications, advance analysis techniques and standards interpretation, including the designation of CM methods applied to Real Property Installed Equipment (RPIE).
Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements
American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) Level 2/International Organization for Standardization (ISO) category 3 Certification
2 years of Condition Monitoring (CM) experience
