Status: Part time
Description: St. Patrick Catholic Church in Kansas City, Missouri is seeking a Director of Religious Education. This position will support the pastor in strengthening the Catholic faith of the youth in our parish from preschool through young adults. This is a 10-month, part-time position based upon a schedule of 20 hours per week, Sunday - Wednesday
Responsibilities:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Communicate using clear and effective verbal/written communications, in a clear, consistent manner with all ages.
· Exhibit attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
· Handle and organize competing priorities.
· Take personal responsibility for work results, work independently with little oversight.
· Build relationships through collaboration and teamwork.
Requirements
· Open availability, including evenings and weekends Sunday through Wednesday.
· Practicing Catholic with ethical standards, personal integrity and conduct consistent with the
morals and teachings of the Catholic Church.
· Experience in managing social media platforms.
