Job Title: Catholic Religious Education Coordinator

Location: Malmstrom Air Force Base, MT

Job Type: Part-time Position

Responsibilities:

The candidate shall: 

• Develop and implement a comprehensive Catholic Religious Education program curriculum.
• Recruit, train, and supervise volunteer teachers and staff.
• Prepare and maintain an annual program plan, including event calendars and budgets.
• Ensure the security and cleanliness of facilities used for RE activities.
• Coordinate special events and activities, such as Vacation Bible School and volunteer appreciation events.
• Maintain attendance records and provide monthly reports to the Catholic Chaplain or designee.
• Collaborate with Chapel Staff and volunteers to promote and support small group ministries.
• Attend monthly meetings with the Catholic Chaplain to discuss upcoming events and address any concerns.

Qualifications:

The candidate should: 

• Understand and experience in administering religious education programs.
• Have basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Have the ability to work in a pluralistic setting with individuals from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds.
•  Be physical ability to travel up/down stairs, lift and carry up to 25 lbs, and monitor classroom activities.
• Have a certification by the Archdiocese of Military Services (AMS) as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion and Viaticum.
