  • Job Purpose: To promote the Pregnancy Prevention Program (3P’s) initiative/mission by working closely

    with FPCC Research Director to ensure all TPP’s contract and deliverable requirements are met in a timely

    manner.

    Position Description: The focus of this position is to oversee the Pregnancy Prevention Program deliverables.

    The position must work with young adults to promote healthy choices/lifestyle including prevention of teen

    pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections and diseases. Responsible to prepare and maintain

    documentation to ensure all deliverables are met in a timely, efficiently, and accurately.

    Duties Include:

    • Serve as an educator and resource contact on pregnancy prevention and making healthy choices.

    Includes instructional time within program related sessions during the regular workday.

    • Plan and coordinate meetings, trainings, and activities of the TP’s.
    • Prepare all required reports and maintain appropriate records.
    • Create and maintain a positive image of Fort Peck Community College.
    • Perform any other duties as assigned.

    Skills/Qualifications: 

    Interpersonal skills requiring courtesy, tact, confidentiality, and empathy always, to
    communicate effectively and convey information to program participants, program

    managers and co-workers. 

    Ability to work independently. 

    Experience working with diverse populations, primarily Native American Indian
    reservations. 

    Responsible, enthusiastic, and energetic individual capable of working
    independently as well as within a team structure. 

    Knowledge of basic computer and software skills. 

    Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

    Knowledge about the Fort Peck Indian Reservation community and culture is
    desirable.

    Educational Qualifications: 

    Associate Degree required, Bachelors Preferred, but not required or equivalent
    experience preferred in Human Relations, Health Field, or Health Administration. 

    Knowledge of data collection software helpful. 

    Training in Human Sexuality Education, preferred by required as part of in-service
    training. 

    Must be able to work independently and think creatively.

    Ability to follow the 3P’s Pregnancy Prevention program requirements. 

    Ability to effectively organize work activities and complete tasks in a timely manner. 

    Must have valid driver's license, safe driving record, reliable transportation and
    maintain own car insurance. 
