The Nurse Educator, as an excellent role model, under the direction of the Director of Training & Development, serves to develop Nursing and Ancillary Departments in their professional role, i.e., use of the Nursing Process, Best Practice framework, patient teaching and supervision of new nursing employees.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, current RN licensed by the state of Kentucky or compact state. BLS certification by American Heart Association (AHA) required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing required. Must obtain MSN or certification within 5 years in area of expertise. EXPERIENCE: At least 3-5 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting, to include proven experience/expertise in the clinical area.
