Renal Dialysis Director directs the staff and programs of the renal dialysis department. Organizes and coordinates inpatient and outpatient dialysis services and operations. Being a Renal Dialysis Director develops and introduces approved standards and guidelines for dialysis operations and programs. Monitors quality of care, compliance, and data collection and leads quality improvement initiatives. Additionally, Renal Dialysis Director oversees the professional development of staff and educational support programs for patients. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Renal Dialysis Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Renal Dialysis Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     How you'll change lives




    As a Dietitian at US Renal Care, you'll be an integral part of a cross-functional team, working under the supervision of a Charge Nurse and assisting and supervising Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to care for patients living with kidney disease.




    What you'll be doing

    Patient Nutrition. You'll be part of an interdisciplinary team working to ensure patients receive the best care, including conducting all required patient assessment and care planning activities and participating in a monthly interdisciplinary patient care conference. You'll recommend therapeutic diets based on patient nutritional needs, preferences, and changes in treatment in consultation with the patient's physician, evaluating standard menus and revising as needed. You'll help patients obtain dietary supplements, as needed. You'll also design and shared educational materials and conduct seminars or classes for dialysis patients.




    Teamwork. You'll collaborate with the Medical Director and physicians and maintain positive relationships with area hospitals, agencies, vendors, and the community.




    Safety & Quality. You'll help with clinical and operational processes to improve patient health and minimize missed treatments and hospitalizations, achieving target goals for patient outcomes. You'll also help maintain a productive quality assurance program and participate in monthly Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities.

    What we're looking for


    • Must have Bachelor of Science Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or Food.
    • Minimum of one year experience in clinical nutrition as a Registered Dietitian required.
    • Current Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) certification showing proof registered with Commission of Dietetic Registration
    • Current Dietitian (LD/LDN) license in applicable state is required unless employed in the state of AZ, CA, CO, HI, IN, MI, NJ or VA. State certification (Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist) required in CT and NY. License must be maintained as current and in good standing.
    • Must have basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); proficiency in all USRC clinical applications required within 90 days of hire
