Renal Dialysis Director jobs in Lebanon, PA
Renal Dialysis Director directs the staff and programs of the renal dialysis department. Organizes and coordinates inpatient and outpatient dialysis services and operations. Being a Renal Dialysis Director develops and introduces approved standards and guidelines for dialysis operations and programs. Monitors quality of care, compliance, and data collection and leads quality improvement initiatives. Additionally, Renal Dialysis Director oversees the professional development of staff and educational support programs for patients. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Renal Dialysis Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Renal Dialysis Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. What You’ll Do:
- As a Dialysis Nurse (RN), you will be performing Dialysis treatments on-site and within the Correctional Community.
- You will be utilizing your assessment skills, technical skills, collaborative skills, documentation skills, and leadership qualities on a daily basis.
This dialysis unit is located in:
- Muncy, PA within SCI Muncy
This dialysis unit operates:
- Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with flexible scheduling options. No Weekends!
As in any setting, this involves teamwork and coordinating care with the health care team. In addition to the healthcare team, you are also required to maintain strong relationships, regular communication, and visibility with clients (site Managed Healthcare, DOC/BOP, etc.)
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse, RN Program.
- Current Registered Nurse, RN License for Pennsylvania & current CPR certification.
- Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English.
- One year of Dialysis RN experience is required.
