Renal Dialysis Director directs the staff and programs of the renal dialysis department. Organizes and coordinates inpatient and outpatient dialysis services and operations. Being a Renal Dialysis Director develops and introduces approved standards and guidelines for dialysis operations and programs. Monitors quality of care, compliance, and data collection and leads quality improvement initiatives. Additionally, Renal Dialysis Director oversees the professional development of staff and educational support programs for patients. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Renal Dialysis Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.
