Renal Dialysis Director jobs in Stockton, CA

Renal Dialysis Director directs the staff and programs of the renal dialysis department. Organizes and coordinates inpatient and outpatient dialysis services and operations. Being a Renal Dialysis Director develops and introduces approved standards and guidelines for dialysis operations and programs. Monitors quality of care, compliance, and data collection and leads quality improvement initiatives. Additionally, Renal Dialysis Director oversees the professional development of staff and educational support programs for patients. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Renal Dialysis Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Renal Dialysis Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     The Acute Registered Nurse must demonstrate familiarity with dialysis and hospital emergency procedures and the knowledge, skills, and judgement necessary to assume the responsibility of caring for the dialysis patient in the acute care setting. This person will be responsible for delivering apheresis and pediatric treatments as applicable. This position exercises a knowledge of patient rights and ensures an atmosphere which allows for the privacy, dignity, and well-being of all patients in a safe, secure environment. This individual cooperates and works together with all co-workers to plan and complete job duties with applicable supervisory direction, including implementing job-appropriate judgement. Prior acute experience in dialysis is required. Applicant must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing. Current state nursing license required. This is a per diem position.

    Salary Range

    $40 - $52 / per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
