Renal Dialysis Technician under the supervision of a registered nurse, performs required monitoring and duties during patient dialysis treatment. Prepares machine and solutions according to protocol. Being a Renal Dialysis Technician monitors patient before, during, and after treatment. Administers prescribed treatment according to physician and nursing orders. Additionally, Renal Dialysis Technician documents all treatment details as required. Ensures patient safety and comfort during treatment. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification and may require the Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) or be required to be working towards the certification. Typically reports to a registered nurse. The Renal Dialysis Technician works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Job Description: Dialysis Nurse
We are searching for a dialysis nurse for a home clinic that also has a small incenter hemodialysis population. Dialysis experience is required. We prefer both hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis experience but if the candidate only has one we can train on the other modality.
The clinic is located in OKC and is open Monday through Friday so no weekends.
We are looking for someone that cares about patient care and can be a team player.
