Additionally, Renal Dialysis Technician documents all treatment details as required. Ensures patient safety and comfort during treatment. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification and may require the Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) or be required to be working towards the certification. Bear Lake Memorial Hospital is seeking a hard working, motivated, and dependable individual to work as a RN in the renal dialysis center.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Completes admitting paperwork for patients.
· Helps to educate patients on dialysis procedures and chemotherapy medications.
· Monitors patients’ vitals and lab reports.
· Interprets patient’s lab results and adjusting care as needed.
· Assures compliance with Regulatory requirements.
· Evaluates, plans, implements, and documents nursing care for patients with kidney failure.
· Initiates dialysis, monitors patient and dialysis machine, and terminates the dialysis procedure.
· Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
· Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
· Performs a variety of tasks.
· Gives compassionate and thorough care and education to patients.
· Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
