Renal Dialysis Technician jobs in Youngstown, OH
Renal Dialysis Technician under the supervision of a registered nurse, performs required monitoring and duties during patient dialysis treatment. Prepares machine and solutions according to protocol. Being a Renal Dialysis Technician monitors patient before, during, and after treatment. Administers prescribed treatment according to physician and nursing orders. Additionally, Renal Dialysis Technician documents all treatment details as required. Ensures patient safety and comfort during treatment. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification and may require the Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) or be required to be working towards the certification. Typically reports to a registered nurse. The Renal Dialysis Technician works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Dialysis Patient Care Technician
Our Patient Care Technicians provide high quality patient care to patients suffering from the most advanced stage of chronic kidney disease, known as END Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). As a PCT you will monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment including measuring and recording stats, initiating cannulation, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup. Our Patient Care Technicians have a combination of technical skills and genuine passion needed to develop deep relationships with patients and improve their quality of life. National certification, HS diploma, or GED required. Previous patient care experience preferred.
