The main function of a General News Reporter is to procure information and news in digital and print formats for multimedia products in an efficient and timely manner. In this role, a General News Reporter will acquire news through assignments, sources and tips. Breaking news should be organized and credible enough to publish directly to our websites when necessary. As part of a small news team working with other Alaska Sound Publishing Inc. publications, there is opportunity for advancement, including senior reporting and editing positions.
