    Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • Knowledge of current events in the sports world
    • Knowledge of current events
    • Knowledge of journalistic techniques and procedures
    • Skill in interviewing, observing, and organizing work elements
    • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
    • Ability to perform essential work tasks under deadline-driven stressful situations
    • Ability to identify and create story ideas and follow through with them
    • Ability to get along and interact with news sources, other contracts, the general public, coworkers, and supervisors
    • Ability to transverse all terrain types and perform essential work tasks outside in all weather conditions.
    • Must be able to drive at night and in all weather conditions to attend meetings and other news events.

    This is a safety-sensitive position. Candidate must pass drug screening, background checks, and have a satisfactory driving record.
