Res. Hall Manager (Incl. Room, Board) oversees all activities of a residence hall. Oversees the maintenance and renovation, purchase and inventory of supplies, assignment of rooms and summer housing, and housekeeping functions. Being a Res. Hall Manager (Incl. Room, Board) is responsible for student housing assignment, maintenance of facilities, and safety of residents. Ensures students follow college/university conduct policies and takes appropriate disciplinary actions when rules are broken. Additionally, Res. Hall Manager (Incl. Room, Board) room and board in the residence hall is included in the terms of employment. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Res. Hall Manager (Incl. Room, Board) supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments.     Summary:
    The Assistant Project Manager shall develop relationships with key stakeholders and support Project Managers to deliver excellence for our clients on our projects. Supporting project management teams through management, execution, and control of design, procurement, and construction.    
    Requirements:   
    • Client Relationship Management:
      • Provides excellence in the management and delivery of the project in line with the client’s expectations.
      • Strengthens and continually maintains the client relationship.
    • Planning:
      • Assists with managing the project plan and hosts kick-off and close-out meetings.
      • Assists with managing project-required construction permits as a prerequisite for project inception.
      • Assists with allocating budget, costs to date, forecasts cost to completion, procurement, and materials management.
      • Develops Contracts and Change orders.
      • Manages purchases of project-related materials and equipment.
      • Maintains a complete understanding of all contractual obligations for the project and documentation of variances.
      • Ensures the primary contract's general terms are passed on to the subcontracts.
    • Reporting:
      • Manages daily tracking of work completed and decision-making for actions required to meet the schedule.
      • Manages daily and weekly status and progress reports of construction on site.
      • Develops and updates the project schedule based on client requests as needed.
      • Works closely with vendors and sub-contractors to obtain status updates on procuring materials, deliveries, and installations.
      • Assists with applying for building and utility permits and follows up with jurisdictions’ regarding inspections to maintain compliance.
      • Creates the weekly and monthly reports sent to company management and the client.
      • Drafts change orders for scopes of work, schedules of values, and schedules associated with both.
    • Operates a company vehicle in a safe manner in all types of conditions.
    • Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.
    • Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct, and Company Policies & Procedures.
    • Ensures that Environmental and QA/QC processes are consistent and implemented according to the plan.
    • Directs, guides, and coaches Project and Field Engineers to ensure site activities are understood and follow established processes through quality checks.
    • Follows processes for systems and communication lines on site and ensures implementation is consistent.
    • Assists with managing site personnel.
    • Fosters a culture of continuous improvement.
    • Ensures that the project is utilizing Safety Management Systems (SMS), Quality Management.
    • Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and technical procedures.
    • Performs audit functions to ensure compliance.
    • Assists with running the Plan of the Day Meeting and updates the daily POD to ensure the accuracy of the information reported.

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor Degree in Engienering, Construction Management, or related degree preferred.
    • Any combination of education and experience (2 years; experience =  1 year education) required.
    • 2 years of Project Management required.
    • 2 years of Solar EPC required.
    Anticipated base salary range:  $92,000 - $115,000
    The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is bonus eligible.
