Res. Hall Manager (Incl. Room, Board) oversees all activities of a residence hall. Oversees the maintenance and renovation, purchase and inventory of supplies, assignment of rooms and summer housing, and housekeeping functions. Being a Res. Hall Manager (Incl. Room, Board) is responsible for student housing assignment, maintenance of facilities, and safety of residents. Ensures students follow college/university conduct policies and takes appropriate disciplinary actions when rules are broken. Additionally, Res. Hall Manager (Incl. Room, Board) room and board in the residence hall is included in the terms of employment. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Res. Hall Manager (Incl. Room, Board) supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. This is a key role within our dealership, ensuring that our customers receive the right parts in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the parts inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and availability
- Coordinate with suppliers to source and procure parts
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure competitive pricing and quality products
- Oversee the logistics of parts delivery, ensuring timely and efficient distribution
- Collaborate with the service department to fulfill parts requests for equipment repair
- Utilize AS400 system for data entry and tracking of parts inventory
- Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and minimize discrepancies
- Implement demand planning strategies to anticipate customer needs
- Train and supervise a team of parts associates
- Maintain a clean and organized parts warehouse
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in parts management or related field
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment
- Proficient in data entry and inventory management systems (AS400 experience preferred)
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for vendor negotiations and customer interactions
- Ability to lead a team and provide guidance when necessary
