Presents of Mind is an entrepreneurial business owned by Community Options, Inc. that successfully integrates people with disabilities into the workforce. It is a shop filled with trendy, classic, gourmet foods, local art, exotic teas, and unique and humorous gifts. Presents of Mind also provides the opportunity for individuals with disabilities to work in a real business setting alongside trained professionals. We are searching for an experienced Store Manager who has a retail background and strong insights regarding sales strategy. This position requires being comfortable working with individuals with disabilities and the primary responsibilities include ordering merchandise, maintaining the store, fulfilling online and Amazon orders, etc. 

The shop is located in Flanders, NJ. 

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily in-store/online operations and provide continuous attention to customer needs
• Order products that will be carried in store that will have successful sales and are competitive in cost
• Promote and market the business to gain customers, especially for holidays and special events
• Create eye catching product displays
• Responsible for merchandise development and perform product audits
• Administer merchandise price checks against competitors
• Monitor inventory level to achieve target rate of supply
• Keep establishment clean, orderly and free from safety hazards
• Attend trade shows and vendor meetings
• Hire, manage, and train/develop daytime, evening, and weekend store staff
• Comply with all internal and state regulations, as well as participate in any inspections and investigations

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Retail, Marketing, Sales Strategy, and Purchasing Experience
• Minimum 1 year experience working with individuals with disabilities
• Knowledge and understanding of local regulatory agency operations
• Understanding and commitment to community based support for persons with disabilities
• Possess a high standard of customer service, integrity, and reliability
